Sheet Mask Review: Mentholatum Acnes

I can’t find much about this sheet mask online but I got it in the market under my apartment while I was living in Indonesia. This mask helps with oil control and reducing acne flare-ups. It contains witch hazel, which is packed with antioxidants and can help protect your skin from the environment or any inflammation-causing bacteria.

This mask wasn’t the easiest to apply, it’s way too big for my face and incredibly thick making it hard to form to your face.I think it does do a good job of keeping your skin a bit more matte after you remove it. The next day I didn’t really see any improvement on my current breakouts. This mask isn’t clean at all, so I would say away if you’re looking for cleaner skincare solutions. Contains parabens. Overall, I think there are way better acne or oil control face masks out there, basically this mask was meh! #DontDew

What I like About it

  • I like that it does calm my oily skin.

  • It’s affordable.

  • It actually covers your nose!

  • Because the material of this mask is so thick, i’m glad that it comes in two pieces to better adjust and fit around your face.

What Don’t I like About it

  • It contains parabens.

  • It doesn’t fit on the face nicely, any movement the mask shifts.

  • Mask is too large for my face.

  • Depending on if you have any breakouts, this mask can sting a little.

How to use

The ingredients are not in english so i’ll do my best here..

Tone your skin, apply two pieces of the mask to your dry face. Leave on for 15 minutes. Remove and pat in the extra essence. Use on your face 3-4 times a week to see results.
