Fragrance or Perfume

What are Fragrance or Perfumes?

Is a chemical that gives products a distinct smell or scent. Comes from petroleum or natural raw materials — most companies buy fragrance mixtures. These fragrance mixes can also contain ingredients like solvents, stabilizers, UV-absorbers, preservatives and dyes.

Fragrance can be found in almost anything: moisturizers, deodorants, lotions, face creams, shampoo and conditioners. This is a harder ingredient to identify, since companies aren’t legally supposed to tell you what their fragrance formula is made of.

What will it do?

Research says synthetic fragrances can disrupt our hormone responses, can cause lung disease, cancer, reproductive toxicity or dermatitis.
