It Cosmetics Secret Sauce Review
It Cosmetic’s Secret Sauce Anti-Aging Moisturizer is a great product if you have normal or dry skin! For the combo-oily people like me, don’t bother getting this one.
This product absorbed so nicely into my fiancé’s skin (dry skin type), literally drank it! His face looked hydrated, healthy and dewy. For me, the product did an amazing job hydrating my skin (combo-oily skin type), leaving my face incredibly soft and with a brighter complexion. The problem I had was that the product didn’t fully absorb into my skin, leaving my skin feeling oily.
To note, when I put makeup on, it didn’t melt my face off. Maybe because I typically set my makeup with powder, so this oily finish may not be a big deal to some — I just prefer a more light weight moisturizer.
What I like About it
It does a great job hydrating your skin!
There are great ingredients in this product that help with anti-aging and brightening which I think work well. Collagen, peptides, hyaluronic acid vitamin c, and licorice root.
This moisturizer didn’t irritate my skin or clog my pores.
It’s made without parabens or sulfates.
What Don’t I like About it
It’s way to heavy for oily skin or combo skin types.
The product didn’t absorb right away into the skin almost just sitting on the surface of my skin leaving a greasy layer behind.
How to use
Apply product to a clean face and neck in the morning or night. One of the things It Cosmetics says about it, is to use upward sweeping motions, which help
