Sheet Mask Review: Natural-Tox Green Grape Mask
Natural-Tox Green Grape Mask Sheet is another find from my trip in Asia. It’s a Korean skincare brand called The Saem which has a seemingly natural approach to their formulas.
This mask’s main ingredient is green grape which is full of antioxidants and has anti-aging benefits. The packaging says its goal is to help vitalize and purify the skin. Returning it to its original clear and healthy tone.
At first I found this mask to be pretty middle of the road. The mask itself felt cheap and the serum didn’t soak the sheet as I would have liked. I did really love the candy-like smell though, and I typically don’t like scented skincare products. When I removed the mask, it did help with brightening or evening my skin tone, I lean a little red. The serum soaked into my skin pretty quickly so I was able to put on some moisturizer right away, not dealing with any sticky residue.
The next day my skin surprisingly looked really good! I honestly had low expectations considering the mask itself wasn’t totally soaked in serum. The blackheads on my nose actually looked cleaned out, my skin was still even in tone, and it didn’t break me out. Wins all around!
What I like About it
It reduced the redness in my face.
It totally smells like grapes, and I want to eat my face because it reminds me of candy. Which probably means that there is some shitty ingredients in this one.
There wasn’t any additional cooling or burning sensations.
When I removed the mask, the serum absorbed very quickly into the skin not leaving any sticky residue.
It helped with the blackheads on my nose.
What Don’t I like About it
The mask itself is made of cotton so it doesn’t go on as seamlessly, or maybe today is the day I realize how asymmetrical my face really is.
It wasn’t soaked in serum, which I find a little disappointing. I like to massage the leftover onto my neck and chest.
The fit was strange. The edge of the eye holes kept creepin pretty close to my eyes which was annoying to constantly adjust.
How to use
After cleansing and toning your face, apply mask for about 20-25 minutes. When you remove the mask pat the remaining essence into your face and let dry.
