Vitamin C

What is Vitamin C?

Pronounced `vīdəmən sē. It’s a water soluble nutrient found in foods. When put on or in the body it acts as an antioxidant. Vitamin C is a magical ingredient that basically does it all, it helps with uneven skin tone, texture, reducing fine lines, acne scars and overall dullness in the skin. You can get Vitamin C in various concentrations all proving to be beneficial for every skin type.

What will it do?

An incredible antioxidant that helps regenerate skin due to it’s ani-aging properties. Because it’s so highly acidic, it boots collagen production and elastin, which helps plump and firm your skins texture. It’s also a go-to ingredient for helping fade dark spots and brightening your skin, because it converts tyrosine into melanin. Is an ingredient that helps neutralize free radicals and targets skin issues caused by pollution and sun damage.

Ingredient Tip

Because it’s an antioxidant, it will break down if exposed to air and light on a frequent basis. To actually get all the benefits from this ingredient, make sure you buy Vitamin C products that are in opaque packaging and are air-restrictive.

For application, I would recommend using this product after you tone and before you moisturize. Because this product protects your skin from free radicals and pollution, you should use Vitamin C within your AM routine.
