Best Brow Growth Serums
When I was younger, I apparently hated my beautiful bushy brows so much that I plucked them into little arches that didn’t follow my brow line or eye shape at all. Thanks for that trend Paris.
Once I realized I looked absolutely awful, i’ve been pretty good about keeping my tweezers away! It took several years for me to allow my brows to grow back without touching them at all — literally didn’t do any maintenance on my brows for about four years. Most of the hair grew back, but not all of it, I had some thin spots and straight up holes. I tried and tested several brow serums to see which ones not just lengthened the hairs, but stimulated new growth as well. Below is a list of a few products what worked and didn’t work to save you some money.
Optibrow by Apot.Care Paris
Eyebrow Growth Intensive Serum, $70.00
Apot.Care is a French skincare line that was inspired by Ophthalmology. They are cruelty free, paraben free, are a green product line and is dermatologically tested.
What I like About it
The serum absorbed into my skin nicely. I was able to apply brow makeup pretty shortly after application.
The product lasts about three months (not the six months it promises on their website).
Packaging was nice, came in a fun little test tube like container.
What Don’t I like About it
Overall, I just didn’t think this product worked well or fast enough.
I only saw brow growth happening towards the end of two months and it wasn’t that significant.
It just lengthened but didn’t stimulate new hair growth.
This was a pretty expensive product. If it worked, I would be OK with it, but that’s not what happened.
How to use
Apply at day and/or night along the natural brow line or areas of the eyebrow you want to be a little bit fuller.

Shiseido
Full Lash and Brow Serum, $36.00
Is a brand rooted in Japanese beauty and dates back to 1872 as Japan’s first Western- style pharmacy. Which mean it’s basically the world's oldest cosmetic company.
What I like About it
I saw results pretty quickly, about 3-4 weeks after use.
It increased the length of my brows, made them look more full filling in empty spots.
I did notice some new hairs spring up after using this product.
I like that this product absorbs pretty quickly into the skin, was able to apply my make up pretty quickly after application.
I love that this product is really affordable!
The product lasts for about 3-4 months.
What Don’t I like About it
I thought I was given the wrong product because it says “Full Lash Serum” on the bottle, but it’s actually for both. Don’t be alarmed like I was.
For the price it worked wonders, but I do wish it did more for new hair growth. This product really just supported the growth of my existing hairs.
How to use
Use a generous amount of serum on the lash line, no need to rub it in. You can use this serum in the AM and PM after your skincare routine.

Skin Research Laboratories NeuBrow
Brow Enhancing Serum, $100.00 (depending on size)
Promised to give you stronger and thicker brows. This was the first brow growth product i’ve ever purchased and is my favorite out of all 4 that I tried.
What I like About it
So this product really works. This is my favorite brow hair growth serum i’ve ever tried.
I saw new hair growth results within about 3 weeks of application.
I do like the applicator itself, it’s a brush, which help you apply the formula to more specific spots on your brow line. There is also a mascara like brush on the other end, which helps you blend the product in if you’d like.
The product lasted about 3 months.
What Don’t I like About it
It’s expensive af.

Apply to the brow line day and night. You have to make sure the product dries all the way before you start adding any sort of brow gel or pencil.

BrowFood
Phyto-Medic Eyebrow Enhancing Serum, $90.00
A natural hair growth serum. Is the first brow and lash product to be Ecocert certified. To note, I actually used the LashFood on my brows because they have the same exact ingredients.
What I like About it
Saw brow hairs starting to fill in within the first two weeks.
Brow hairs grew in length but didn’t necessarily stimulate new hair growth.
Tube lasted about 3 months.
What Don’t I like About it
Didn’t really stimulate new hair growth more about length.
I felt like it hit a plateau, was going really strong for a few weeks and then I didn’t see much improvement.
Cannot use this before makeup, more of a nighttime treatment.
