Review: An Organic Exfoliator by Juice Beauty
Juice Beauty is a vegan product line I discovered while shopping over at Credo, an all natural/organic skincare and makeup store. What made me interested in trying Juice Beauty, is all their stuff is 100% organic. Not only do they use ingredients from farms that practice clean growing (limiting synthetic pesticides and fertilizers), but also during production they steer clear of parabens, sulfates and PEGS. They also say no to animal testing, which is a win in my book!
If you follow me on instagram, you’ll know that I do one chemical (or I call it physical) exfoliation a week. I truly believe this has helped me reduce the appearance of black heads in my problem areas (nose and cheeks). The reason why you should jump on the exfoliating band wagon is because it’s removing dead skin cells that basically clog your pores. When this happens, the dead skin isn’t letting dirt and oil escape, causing black heads and break outs. It’s also preventing your skincare products from sinking into your skin, making it less effective. Also your face just looks fresh, skin tone looks more evened and feels so soft after!
This particular product is very similar to ones i’ve used before. My previous favorite was Peter Thomas Roth’s Firm and Peel Gel, and i’m happy to report, that this does just as good a job as a non-organic one!
Key ingredients included are: organic champagne grape seed oil (yum), which help protect the skin and is full of anti-oxidants. Organic cucumber extract which hydrates, tones, soothes and softens the skin. And organic licorice root, which is great for clarifying and brightening the skin!
What I like About it
Instantly exfoliates your face without any irritation, or harsh scrubbing. This is my new weekly exfoliating product!
Glad I found an exfoliator that was organic. Makes me feel much better about what is making my dead skin slide off my face.
Love using this a few days after my microdermabrasion when my face is starting to peel off. Helps the process move a bit faster.
Doesn’t make my skin red or cause any negative side effects.
What Don’t I like About it
I had the travel-sized version of this product and the spray nozzle was pretty hard to control, just shot right out. Threw me off. Maybe the full-sized one is better.
Not the most affordable exfoliator of its kind.
How to use
Shake well before you apply. Best used in the shower. Spray product onto your face and neck, section by section. Let product sit on your skin for a few seconds. Then use your fingertips to rub the product in circular motions, section by section. Found dry fingers work better. Old dead skin will start to exfoliating off your face into little beads (it’s kinda gross but also oddly satisfying). Rinse your face with warm water and apply your normal skincare products as usual.

Prepping for your wedding day can be pretty stressful, but what about your skincare routine? With so many decisions for your big day, skincare can easily be put on the back burner. I decided to break down my routine. Warning: it’s hella neurotic!
