30-Day Skincare Challenges
It’s not great to mix-up your skincare routine too often because you really don’t know what could be causing what reaction to your skin. So i’ve started to do 30-day challenges called “Month Of” where I only use one brands product line to really get to know the effects of their products and quality of ingredient.
Finished week three of no exfoliating products, one more to go! I’ve ditched both physical and chemical (AHAs/BHAs) exfoliators for 28 days so my skin can naturally exfoliate itself. It’s been an eye opening experience!
I’ve now wrapped week two of my no-exfoliator experiment, and boy were there highs and lows! After this week I learned a lot. Once I received my sensitive skincare products, things started to transform. All of this has made me realize, my skin has changed. Read how my skin has evolved over the week.
I think that i've been over exfoliating my face, so for the next month i'm going to ditch products that have exfoliating ingredients to see how my skin responds. Do AHAs/BHAs really work for me? These are the results from my first week into this experiment!
While traveling in London, I grabbed one of the Neal’s Yard Remedies starter kits for oily/acne prone skin. Go check out my review on the cleanser, tone moisturizer and clay mask.
Challenged my skincare routine by only using the new clean skincare line Biossance for a month. This is my review.
Tested one of my favorite (expensive) product lines for a month. Is the product worth the price tag?
Tested the cult brand for a full month. Check out what I like and what I could do without!

Even thought we’ve been working remotely (most of us) for almost a year, it’s still incredibly important to wear sunscreen. If your new work-from-home station is by a window, guess what, ya need sunscreen! This Supergoop sunscreen is a pretty new product in their collection, and in Supergoop fashion, they are doing some pretty fun things with formula and texture.
Prepping for your wedding day can be pretty stressful, but what about your skincare routine? With so many decisions for your big day, skincare can easily be put on the back burner. I decided to break down my routine. Warning: it’s hella neurotic!
I’m honestly a little mad I didn’t hear about Avya Skincare sooner. They are based in Texas, and do a fantastic job mixing innovation/technology with natural ingredients. What’s so interesting about this brand is they have a unique differentiator in the marketplace: they created a skincare line specifically for people who have higher melanin levels.
Finally finished my no exfoliating experiment! I’ve ditched both physical and chemical (AHAs/BHAs) exfoliators for 28 days so my skin can naturally exfoliate itself. It’s been an eye opening experience!
